An adventure is an exciting or unusual experience; it may also be a bold, usually risky undertaking, with an uncertain outcome.  Adventures may be activities with some potential for physical danger. The term also broadly refers to any enterprise that is potentially fraught with physical, financial or psychological risk.
For some people, adventure becomes a major pursuit in and of itself. (Hmm, Martin Woodbury comes to mind!)  Helen Keller stated that "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."  I do believe we will go with that - so on with our life!

As you can see, my "adventure" doesn't seem to be fraught with risk or physical danger, at this point.  We'll see what the next 6 months bring.  I have expressed a desire to meditate and relax every day while I'm here - this has been a great start.
For those wanting updates & keeping track of us - hopefully this blog will provide enough information for edification but not boredom.  "Woodbury Adventure 101" is about all the new experiences, new friends, new opportunities and new challenges we will have - thus "101" - we are just beginning!
UPDATE:  Martin arrived into Belize yesterday - safe & sound!  Been listening to his adventures with Ramon, his kindred spirit.  Ramon is a native Belizean, whom we met several years ago and who makes the trip between the USA & Belize frequently.  They joke, tease, enjoy life and LOVE helping others - which is why their trip through Mexico took 1 1/2 days longer than normal.  I'll get more particulars on the stories & post them in another blog.  For now - we are grateful for his safe arrival and to be moving forward together again!
